The Careers
   
"I began my professional career five years ago as an operations manager at this centre. Today I hold the post of Director.

Most of all I am a coordinator. I manage two sites, the "Centre Européen de St Ouen" and the "Parc des Princes", which has about 50 meeting rooms, an auditorium and a legendary stadium! We can accommodate anywhere from 25 to 3,000 persons. We can thus be simply a place for seminars, or we can organise major shows and events. I regard myself as being the "conductor" at the head of a team of 20 persons. I have to coordinate all our activities right down to the finest detail, dispatch information and sometimes even go looking for a needle in haystack! All this with the constant desire to satisfy our customers. I keep an eye on the maintenance of the premises and adherence to safety regulations. I am also responsible for all of the purchasing, with the exception of food, because we have handed over the catering responsibilities to a professional caterer. I therefore monitor his activities so the customer's wishes are met. I also play the role of negotiator and cost controller.

This is a job that is not monotonous at all and I get to meet people from all walks of life, politicians, celebrities, businessmen etc."
